Born in England in 1971, The Naked Blonde Writer – a societal drop-out of no fixed abode – began writing from the first moment she beheld the mighty pen… she began nude modelling at seventeen for any one with a camera… at nineteen she dropped out of a French degree at UCL to study literature at King’s College London while singing and writing songs in a band of three… she abandoned university in 1993 and ran away to Hollywood Boulevard in 1994 where she was stranded for 6 years… she sang at The Palace, had a near-fatal brush with fame, studied method acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute and in 1999 she lost her motivation and retreated to the Welsh mountains where she finally finished writing her first book – BLACKOUT – as an antidote to apathy and the dark side of the valleys… after six years of isolated study, she was awarded a first-class honours degree in literature in 2012 … during a blurred stretch of time induced by pharmaceutical drug addiction – somewhere around 2010 or 2009 – she was filmed reading Chapter 1 of this book completely unclothed… she has since recalled the incident, concluding that The Naked Reading was intended to embody and exemplify the rare combination of vulnerability and courage required to write a book… The Naked Blonde Writer earned her moniker . . .
